As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to support delivery on our projects in and around Doncaster.

The Role This is a hands-on supervisory role responsible for overseeing day-to-day groundworks operations on site. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will be site-based in Doncaster, managing operatives and coordinating subcontractors across active developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising groundworks teams on site, ensuring productivity and high standards of workmanship.
  • Coordinating day-to-day site activities and ensuring works are completed in line with programme requirements.
  • Ensuring full compliance with current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
  • Delivering and monitoring site-specific RAMS.
  • Liaising with site management, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.
  • Assisting with material and plant requisitions.
  • Overseeing works including: Roads & sewers, RC foundations (ring beam & strip foundations), External works.

Experience Required

  • The candidate must have proven experience in: Roads & sewers, RC foundations – ring beam & strip foundations.
  • Additionally, previous experience in a Groundworks Supervisor role.
  • Ability to manage site teams and coordinate multiple activities effectively.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work.
