As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to support delivery on our projects in and around Doncaster.
The Role
This is a hands-on supervisory role responsible for overseeing day-to-day groundworks operations on site.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
You will be site-based in Doncaster, managing operatives and coordinating subcontractors across active developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising groundworks teams on site, ensuring productivity and high standards of workmanship.
- Coordinating day-to-day site activities and ensuring works are completed in line with programme requirements.
- Ensuring full compliance with current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
- Delivering and monitoring site-specific RAMS.
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.
- Assisting with material and plant requisitions.

- Roads & sewers
- RC foundations (ring beam & strip foundations)
- External works
Experience Required
The candidate must have proven experience in
- Roads & sewers
- RC foundations – ring beam & strip foundations
- Additionally
- Previous experience in a Groundworks Supervisor role.
- Ability to manage site teams and coordinate multiple activities effectively.
- Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work.
