As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Groundworks Contracts Manager to support delivery on our projects in and around South East England.
Requirements:
- 10 years plus experience in a Groundworks Contracts manager role.
- Ability to manage 5-7 projects throughout the Southeast of England concurrently with a minimum of 7 operatives per site.
- Experience and knowledge of current health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Competent to write site-specific RAMS.
- Commitment to achieving a high standard of quality in all aspects of work.
- Strong commercial awareness and capable of working within allocated budget and timeframe for each site.
- Experience in deep drainage, RC foundations, strip foundations, ducting of services, and all external works.
- Competent in completing take-offs from design drawings for material and plant requisitions.
- Good communication skills and record-keeping.
Experience & Qualifications:
- CSCS (preferably Black Card)
- SMSTS
- First aid at work
- Temporary Works Supervisor
- Medium Risk Confined Space
- EUSR (Energy and Utility Skills) Categories 3, 4 & 5 - Install, Inspect & Remove Timber, Steel and Proprietary Excavation Support Systems
- SWQR (Street Works Qualifications Register)
- IOSH
Salary
DOE with discretionary bonus. No company vehicle.
