You will gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside experienced operators, learning how to operate plant and machinery, assist with maintenance and understand the production of quality recycled and primary aggregate products.
The Role
As a Trainee Quarry Worker, your responsibilities will include
- Assisting with the maintenance of washplant equipment and mobile plant.
- Learning to safely operate quarrying and mobile plant machinery.
- Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the quarry and processing plant.
- Learning about the production of recycled and primary aggregate products.
- Carrying out general site duties and keeping the working environment clean and organised.
- Working alongside experienced members of the team to develop practical plant operation and engineering skills.
- Following all company health and safety procedures.
