LNS Recruitment are currently looking for a reliable and organised Weighbridge Operator to join a busy site team in Rainham. 📍 Location: Rainham 🕖 Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:00–17:30 📅 Occasional Saturday & out-of-hours work may be required by prior agreement. 👷 THE ROLE You’ll play an important role in ensuring the safe, efficient and accurate movement of materials on and off site. Your responsibilities will include: • Operating the weighbridge and recording inbound and outbound materials • Weighing soil, aggregates and other materials accurately • Maintaining accurate records and documentation • Communicating with drivers, site supervisors and site teams • Carrying out visual checks on incoming materials • Using weighbridge software and IT systems • Reporting equipment faults or maintenance issues • Producing reports and completing general administration • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised weighbridge area • Following all health, safety and environmental procedures • Providing a professional and friendly service to drivers and visitors ✅ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We're looking for someone who has: • A great attitude and willingness to learn • Good IT and computer skills • Strong administration and organisational skills • Excellent attention to detail • Good communication and teamwork skills • The ability to work independently and multitask • The ability to work safely on a busy site • Flexibility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions • Availability for occasional overtime when required • Own vehicle – essential due to the site location Experience within waste, environmental management, construction or weighbridge operations would be advantageous. 📞 Interested?
