We are seeking an entry-level Software Engineer I to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to software development projects within a specific functional area or product line. Responsibilities:

  • Write and review portions of detailed specifications for system components of simple complexity.
  • Complete basic bug fixes.
  • Implement development processes, coding best practices, and participate in code reviews under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in various development environments (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Resolve basic technical issues as needed.
  • Stay updated on new technology developments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Familiarity with data manipulation languages and data modeling principles.
  • Understanding of data storage subsystems.
  • Knowledge of development languages such as Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net.
  • Awareness of test-driven development practices.
  • Strong desire to learn new processes and technologies.
  • Basic oral and written communication skills.
