The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Director to lead a high-performing regional sales function across the Midlands and North.

This is a strategic leadership role focused on driving sustainable revenue growth, developing high-performing teams, and delivering commercial excellence across multiple locations.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will lead sales performance, support business growth and integration, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire regional sales teams, creating a high-performance culture.
  • Coach and develop Sales Team Leaders, Account Directors, and Account Executives.
  • Deliver sustainable revenue growth through new business, client retention, and cross-selling.
  • Drive sales performance through effective pipeline management, forecasting, and account planning.
  • Monitor regional performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and addressing risks.
  • Lead teams through organisational growth, acquisitions, and business change.
  • Build strong relationships across operational, broking, and specialist teams to deliver excellent client outcomes.
  • Act as a senior representative with clients, insurer partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and governance standards.

About You

You will be an experienced sales leader within the insurance sector who has a proven track record of delivering commercial growth through strong leadership rather than direct sales activity.

You'll be able to
