What you\’ll be doing
Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the daily operations of our Customer Experience teams? We\’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision to deliver high-quality rosters that keep our seven-day-a-week operation running smoothly. In this pivotal role, you\’ll ensure every shift is planned with efficiency and accuracy, guided by robust rostering principles and company policies. Key Responsibilities
As part of the rostering team, you\’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient allocation of resources across the depot. Your responsibilities will include:
- Weekly and Daily Rostering: Creating and maintaining accurate rosters that align with operational needs and comply with the Working Time Directive.
- Overtime Management: Ensuring all overtime is properly recorded and adheres to rostering principles.
- Timesheet Compilation: Producing accurate timesheets via the rostering system and preparing them for payroll and agency authorisation.
- Annual Leave Coordination: Managing leave allocations and maintaining up-to-date records.
- Route and Skill Knowledge Tracking: Monitoring refresher requirements and ensuring staff maintain multi-skilled route knowledge, including diversionary routes.
- Rest Day Work Equalisation: Allocating rest day work fairly and in line with local agreements, supported by accurate record-keeping.
- Administrative Support: Performing general clerical tasks and assisting the line manager with administrative duties.
- Team Collaboration: Working independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines, while maintaining effective two-way communication with colleagues and other departments.
- Confidentiality and Accuracy: Ensuring all resource systems are kept accurate and confidential information is handled appropriately.

Medical screening
We\’re a safety conscious business so for all roles you\’ll need to pass a medical screening and a drugs and alcohol test before we send you an unconditional job offer. For our safety critical roles, you\’ll also need to have a safety critical medical. Our friendly, in-house Health and Wellbeing team will book a time and place to suit you.
