Overview
Year 3 Teacher – Morecambe area. Temporary/full-time position from September 2025. 32.5 hours per week. Located in Morecambe with a friendly and supportive primary school. Role offers professional development and potential extension depending on school requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of Year 3 students, in line with the KS2 curriculum.
- Employ behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and participate in CPD activities.
- Manage classroom resources and maintain an organised and welcoming learning space.
- Support the inclusion of children with SEND, adapting teaching methods and materials as needed.
- Direct TA and additional adult support within the classroom.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a primary school teacher, with experience in Year 3 or KS2 preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance records.
- Experience teaching children with SEND is advantageous.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
