Teaching Assistant
Job Type: Ongoing from September 2025
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a charming village school in the Ribble Valley. This role involves working with Year 1 and Year 2 students in the mornings and providing SEN support in KS2 for the remainder of the day. This position is ideal for someone who has experience working with SEN children and is committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
Day-to-day Of The Role
Assist in the delivery of daily lessons for Years 1 and 2 in the mornings.
Provide tailored support to SEN students in KS2, ensuring they are engaged and making progress.
Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement effective strategies that meet the needs of all students.
Monitor and support the learning of students, adapting your approach to cater to individual needs.
Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and learning environments.
Participate in training and development sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with SEN children is preferable.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A proactive and patient approach to student development.
Relevant qualifications in education or a related field are advantageous.
