At Astley Park we are a supportive and forward thinking special school committed to providing exceptional education for children and young people with a wide range of complex learning needs and are seeking a dedicated class teacher to join our team. You will work collaboratively with skilled support staff to create a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored to individual needs.

Essential Qualifications
- Degree
- QTS
- Evidence of CPD – SEND/curricular
Desirable Qualifications
- Not applicable.
Essential Experience
- Experience of teaching pupils with a range of SEND within a primary or special school setting
- Working knowledge of assessment procedures and ability to analyse and utilise data to support progress to raise achievement
- Excellent ICT skills
- Experience of leading a subject, long term project or initiative
- Experience of multi-disciplinary working
- Experience and confidence in managing pupils whose behaviour can be challenging
Desirable Experience
- Team Teach intermediate trained.
