We are currently recruiting a Cook to work within Outdoor Education Services at our Borwick Hall centre in the heart of Borwick Village for Lancashire County Council. Lancashire Outdoor Education Service is proud to be the major provider of outdoor adventure activities and residential facilities to an array of visitors such as schools, businesses and more. Our fantastic sites provide a welcoming space for all to have fun and challenge themselves in a stunning outdoor setting.
Your new role Responsibilities:
- Oversee the running of the kitchen in the beautiful location of Borwick Hall.
- Welcome and guide a small team to provide high quality, tasty and nutritious food.
- Support the catering supervisor to plan meals.
- Support your team, listen to ideas and positively encourage everyone to take pride in their work.
- Set the standard for hygiene and ensure everyone is aware of the importance of individual dietary and allergen requirements.
- Provide diligent record keeping, ordering quality ingredients.
- Support the Catering Supervisor with additional tasks.
