We are recruiting a Catering Casual for the Thornton and Poulton area in Poulton‑le‑Fylde, Lancashire. The role provides high quality, healthy, balanced meals for primary school children in the Wyre area on a casual engagement. Salary £24,310 per annum (pro‑rated for part‑time).
Employment type: Casual, part‑time, term‑time only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the dining area for service, including moving and setting up furniture and putting away.
- Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
- Clean all equipment and catering areas.
Requirements & Skills:
- Drivers desired but not essential if willing to use public transport.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
- Good customer care skills.
- Previous catering and food preparation experience desirable.
Working Hours / Days: Casual hours offered on an ‘as and when’ basis.
Successful candidates will be required to obtain a DBS disclosure.
