We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team, working with Year 4 students. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about contributing to the educational and personal development of children. The position is to start as soon as possible and is ongoing.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and setting up resources for activities in line with the educational curriculum.
- Support the teacher in managing classroom activities and ensuring a safe learning environment.
- Work directly with Year 4 students, providing individual support and group assistance.
- Monitor and support the progress and development of the students.
- Help manage student behaviour in the classroom and on school premises.
- Engage with students to foster their enthusiasm for learning.
- Assist with the evaluation of students' progress through observation and record-keeping.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Must be Level 2 qualified in a relevant field.
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or similar role, preferably with Year 4 students.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to student development.
