Job Details
Apprenticeship (Grade 3), Part-time, Fixed Term Contract. 30 hours per week. Salary: £7.55 per hour (full‑time equivalent). Contract dates: 5 Jan 2026 – 31 Aug 2027. Closing date: 3 Dec 2025.
Role Summary
Provide support to teachers and pupils, assisting with classroom tasks and learning activities while undertaking comprehensive apprenticeship training and ongoing professional development.
Essential Qualifications
- Commitment to undertake the apprenticeship training package and in‑service training.
Desirable Qualifications
- English and Mathematics grade 4 or above – or willingness to achieve this grade during the apprenticeship.
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
- Commitment to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of pupils.
Essential Experience
- Good attendance record and commitment to regular attendance at work.
- Ability to adhere to confidentiality.
- Ability to relate well to pupils.
- Openness to working well within a team.
Desirable Experience
- Good communication and organisational skills.
