Summary: Huncoat Primary School’s Nursery seeks an enthusiastic, experienced TA2a to join our nurturing Early Years team. This role supports 3‑5 year olds in a stimulating environment, promoting play‑based learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support young children through high quality early years education.
- Implement and maintain good routines for 3‑5 year olds.
- Work collaboratively with the EYFS team to support children’s learning and development.
- Assist with assessment and planning of activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming classroom environment.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- TA2 NVQ or equivalent.
- Working experience with children aged 3‑7 years.
- First Aid trained.
- Choking / Food Hygiene Certificate or Training.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
- Phonics / early reading and early maths experience.
- Experience working in a Nursery setting.
