The Role
We are looking for a fashion-forward and customer-focused Showroom Assistant to support the daily operations of our retail environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional service, with a strong sense of personal style and a deep interest in contemporary fashion and culture. This is a hands-on role that blends operational precision with customer engagement and creative outreach. You'll be instrumental in shaping the showroom experience and building strong relationships with our clients and community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day running of the showroom, including opening and closing procedures.
- Manage online orders, customer requests, and in-store client interactions.
- Maintain impeccable visual merchandising and stock presentation across all areas.
- Oversee stock handling, inventory checks, and restocking processes.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and inviting retail space at all times.
- Accurately process transactions using POS systems, in-store and remotely.
Clientelling & Customer Experience
- Provide an elevated, personalized shopping experience for every visitor.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through follow-up, styling advice, and attentive service.
- Track client preferences, purchases, and wish lists to enhance future interactions.
- Engage clients with updates on new arrivals, exclusives, and upcoming showroom events.
Product & Brand Expertise
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the showroom's brand mix and seasonal collections.
- Stay current on fashion trends and cultural movements relevant to our audience.
- Offer thoughtful styling support across diverse categories and product types.
- Contribute to achieving and exceeding sales objectives through client engagement and storytelling.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a seamless showroom experience.

- Support outreach strategies to drive awareness and showroom traffic.

Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience as a showroom assistant or personal shopper, ideally with an existing client portfolio.
- Experience in retail, fashion, or showroom environments preferred.
- Deep interest in fashion, styling, and visual culture.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Confidence in using POS systems and digital tools (training available).
