Role Description: The Legal Panel Manager is a full-time, home-based role with regular UK travel requirements to visit panel law firms and attend meetings at LMS' Head Office in Chester. The role involves overseeing and managing relationships with panel law firms, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and supporting legal operations. Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing conveyancing cases ensuring that panel law firms maintain the highest standard of service
- Offering expert legal guidance to lender clients
- Providing technical support to the customer services team
- Giving subject matter guidance to internal IT project groups
The Legal Panel Manager will work closely with stakeholders internally and externally to facilitate seamless communication and optimize legal processes.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive or Solicitor
- Expertise in Conveyancing transactions including volume remortgages
- Strong knowledge of Legal Compliance standards and processes
- Ability to manage and coordinate legal operations effectively
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in legal processes
- Ability to apply practical and legal knowledge to shape digital solutions
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK for panel firm meetings
