Company Description

For over three decades, LMS has been dedicated to simplifying conveyancing. Initially aimed at bridging the gap between lenders and law firms, LMS has now evolved into a fully digitised and connected ecosystem. It offers a streamlined and secure home buying and selling process for all parties involved. By embracing innovative technology, LMS has diversified its services to cover the entire market, enhancing processes for lenders, law firms, intermediaries, estate agents, and customers alike.

The Opportunity

As a Business Development Consultant covering the Midlands/North of the UK (our head office is in Chester) you will open, shape and win new estate agency relationships for NPTN, LMS’s platform thinking solution that connects agents, conveyancers, lenders and Material Information providers end to end. You will generate demand through outbound email, phone and social, convert interest into qualified meetings, run credible discovery and value pitches, and advance deals by coordinating MI product demos as a key step toward agent commitment. The role is remote with time split between working from home and meeting prospective clients where appropriate/necessary.

Your impact

  • Prospect and engage estate agents using LMS’s database and targeted outbound campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn/social selling).
  • Build segmented lists and craft messaging by region and value driver, collaborating with LMS partners and Marketing.
  • Lead discovery calls to understand agency tech stacks, operational pain points, and KPIs.
  • Deliver compelling business cases, progressing opportunities through the NPTN commitment pathway.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to build pipeline and brand presence.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and uphold GDPR/information security standards.
  • Provide regular reporting on activity, pipeline health, and risks.

Your Qualifications

Preferred: Track record in proptech sales to estate agents (new business focus); strong understanding of estate agency workflows and commercial drivers. Experience running end to end sales cycles (prospect → discovery → demo → commercial close) with multi stakeholder decision groups. Demonstrable success with outbound (email/call/social) and social selling; confident presenting to decision makers. Competent with CRM (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools; rigorous in data hygiene. Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
