Project Manager (Client side) – Staff – London

Location: London This is an excellent opportunity to join a world leading cleantech, renewable and alternative energy company involved in the development of novel green energy and fuel solutions on a global scale with excellent career opportunities.

Role & Responsibilities Management of Projects from early phases through installment, commissioning and handover.

The role will be overseeing the full transformation of a plant to a full operating capability.

This is a client-side role, working with the FEED / EPC to manage all engineering, construction and commissioning activities.

Acting as the key interface with the FEED / EPC Contractor to drive project execution and contract strategy.

The role will be based on site in London for c.2-3 years before transitioning to site in North East England during the construction phase.

Collaborate as part of the project management team.

Developing and supporting the implementation of details work plans, including remedial changes and repairs.

Checking the quality of subcontractor design work to ensure compliance with agreed client design specifications.

Produce budget costs and cash flow projections for projects.

Plan, schedule and steward progress on engineering projects.

Maintain and further develop relationships with key stakeholders on projects.

Ensure that issues relating to HSE are effectively managed, in line with the clients’ policies and procedures.

Produce progress reports and lead progress meetings with clients and internal team.

Will be required to provide input into HAZOP / HAZIDs.

Key Skills & Knowledge Must be degree qualified in relevant engineering discipline, chartered status desired but not essential.

Previously worked in the Oil & Gas or Renewable Energy industries.

Must have power plant build / refurb / commissioning / re-commissioning experience.

Being a pro-active, independent self-starter is also essential.
