BIM Technician (HVAC background)

BIM Technician (HVAC background) – Contract – Remote Working Location: Remote / Working from Home This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering business during a period of continued growth as they support the Oil & Gas, Nuclear and Renewable Energy sectors. This role is remote working and is deemed to be outside IR35. The successful applicant must be a British passport holder and hold current Security Clearance at BPSS level or higher. Role & Responsibilities * Fluent in Revit, Autocad and Navis Works – essential * Ability to produce 3D CAD information in a BIM environment. * Must have a strong previous background in HVAC. * Production of 2D drawings (layouts, arrangements, sections, elevations etc.) from the 3D model. * Production of contractor’s installation drawings from the 3D model * Capability across Mechanical disciplines including Building Services. * Familiar with BIM, use of Common Data Environment (CDE) and QA systems. * Familiar with working in a secure environment Key Skills & Knowledge * Generating piping models. * Previous experience in HVAC is essential. * Proficiency with Revit software is essential. * Chartered status preferred but not essential. * Must have proven experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochem, Nuclear, Renewable Energy sectors or similar.
