LMP Truck and Trailer Repairs is a family-owned business with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Night Technician to join our expanding team at our Irlam depot.
You will be joining a skilled team of more than 30 professionals, carrying out maintenance and repair work on HGV trucks and trailers for our growing customer base.
The Role
As a Night Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- General servicing and maintenance of HGV trucks and trailers
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- MOT preparation and inspections
- Carrying out repairs to a high standard
- Using diagnostic equipment where required
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
Experience with the following would be advantageous:
- EBS systems
- Electrical diagnostics and repairs
- Welding

Working Hours
- Four 12-hour night shifts per week

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working with HGV trucks and trailers
- A strong understanding of HGV servicing, maintenance and repair
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
- A full UK driving licence
- A Class 1 HGV driving licence would be advantageous, but is not essential
