This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a vibrant school while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
Role Overview
As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you\'ll play a key role in supporting pupils and teachers in the classroom and through the delivery of interventions. You’ll develop the skills and confidence to help children thrive in their learning and personal development. This is a fantastic stepping stone into a career in education.
Key Details

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (35 hours/week)
• Weekly Pay: £8.55 per hour
• Duration: 16 months
• Start Date: September 2025
• Positions Available: 2
• Level: Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3)
  

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting pupils during lessons and activities
• Delivering key interventions within a key phase
• Assisting teachers with the delivery of classroom materials
• Providing 1:1 or group support to pupils who need extra help
• Developing classroom management and behaviour strategies
• Helping to plan sessions with clear learning objectives
• Promoting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Attending professional development sessions to enable you to grow and develop as a Teaching Assistant

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade A*-C / 9-4 (essential)
  

Future Prospects
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you may progress into a permanent Learning Support Assistant role or continue onto further training and qualifications in education, such as a Level 5 Specialist TA (HLTA) programme.
