Duties
- Oversee daily hotel operations across Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping.
- Act as Manager-on-Duty and lead the hotel in the Hotel Manager's absence.
- Ensure SOPs, service standards, and company policies are consistently followed.
- Monitor costs, manage budgets, and support KPI delivery.
- Complete daily financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Manage staff rotas, training, and performance reviews.
- Drive guest satisfaction, online reputation, and repeat business.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements.
- Support maintenance and continuous property improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- GCSEs in English and Maths at grades 4-9 (A*-C) desirable
Skills and Personal Qualities
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on management approach
- Experience with budgets, reporting, and cost control
- Familiarity with PMS systems (preferably Rezlynx)
- Good knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene
- Proficient in MS Office
- Flexible to work weekends and shifts
