Holiday Club Play Leader
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to deliver a range of sports‑based activities during our Fun Weeks at William Penn Leisure Centre in Rickmansworth. The role involves coaching children aged 5 to 12, ensuring fun, inclusive and educational experiences.
Responsibilities
- Deliver challenging, realistic and fun sessions for primary‑aged children.
- Create a positive learning environment and high‑standard coaching programme.
- Follow the coaching philosophy of Fun, Inclusive & Educational.
- Adapt activities to meet individual needs and keep children engaged.
- Manage first‑aid/emergency situations and liaise with parents/carers.
- Maintain professionalism and commitment to delivering high‑quality sessions.
Essential Requirements
- Strong interest in working with primary‑aged children and facilitating fun games.
- Willingness to develop coaching skills and learn new activities.
- Punctual, reliable and committed to the holiday programme.
- Experience delivering activities to primary‑aged children.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to interact well with children, teachers and parents.
Preferred Requirements
- Clean UK driver’s licence.
- Experience in a childcare or holiday camp setting.
- Willingness to deliver additional activities such as Arts & Crafts or multi‑sport sessions.
- Completion of relevant sport or coaching qualifications.
