Level 3 Marketing Apprenticeship in Guildford

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Apprentice to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and to support the successful delivery of the school’s events programme and assist with a range of marketing and communication activities, while working towards a recognised qualification.

Apprenticeship Overview:

• Salary: £8.00 an hour, Automatic pay increase after one year on programme for 19+ year olds
• Working Week: Monday to Friday 8.30 am – 3.30pm (1 hour lunch break)
• Hours: 30 hours per week
• Duration: 18 months Level 3 Marketing Apprenticeship Standard qualification
• Location: Station Road, Guildford, Surrey, GU5 0DF

What you’ll do at work:

• Proactive highly organised and enthusiastic Marketing and Events Assistant to support the successful delivery of the school’s events programme and assist with a range of marketing and communication activities.
• Coordination and delivery of School events, including Open Mornings, Admissions events, taster days and alumnae events.
• Responsible for supporting all aspects of events administration and logistics, ensuring visitors, families, staff and guests enjoy a professional and welcoming experience.
• Working under the direction of the Director of Marketing, you will also support the creation of photography and videography content.
• Assist with marketing communications activities and provide administrative support across departments.
• Work closely with the Director of Marketing, Marketing team, Admissions team and wider School community, providing practical support for the planning and organisation.

As an apprentice, you will receive support through both on-the-job learning and formal training as part of your apprenticeship programme. This will typically include:

• Study towards a Level 3 Marketing Apprenticeship Standard.
• On-the-job training and mentoring from experienced school professionals.
• Regular review meetings to support progress and development.
• Training in school administration, finance systems, and education-sector processes.

The successful candidate will obtain a Level 3 Marketing Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
