As an Adult Care Apprentice, you will

  • Deliver high-quality care in line with each resident's individual care plan.
  • Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support residents with mobility and promote their independence wherever possible.
  • Encourage and support residents' emotional wellbeing through meaningful activities and social interaction.
  • Maintain residents' dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
  • Carry out light housekeeping duties to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues.
  • Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and infection prevention procedures.
  • Accurately record and report any changes in residents' health or wellbeing.
