Apprenticeship Details: 17 months expected duration to complete, working towards your Level 2 AAT Qualification or 24 months for Level 3. All learning is delivered online/remote. We are seeking an Accounting Apprentice who will undertake an apprenticeship in AAT Level 2 or 3.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing assistance to staff and visitors at the reception desk.
- Supporting with greeting visitors, signing them in/out.
- Handling telephone enquiries, making outgoing calls.
- Operating standard office equipment (fax machine, franking device, photocopiers).
- Coordinating client finance liaison.
- Managing the mailbox.
- Assisting receipting and administration of payments, chasing payments, discussing and advising on property with clients.
- Processing invoices and basic bookkeeping.
- Postal duties, opening mail, distributing parcels, dispatching outgoing mail.
- Maintaining accurate data, filing paper records.
- Providing general administrative support to Office Manager (word processing, Excel spreadsheets, IT tasks).
- Handling personnel files filing.
- Organizing interview days and preparing interview paperwork.
- Supporting interview days (greeting and escorting candidates).
- Verifying and copying ID documentation for pre-employment checks.
