We are back with another great role - this time with a world-leading Maritime Transportation specialist!

This role is designed to support our clients' Marine Warranty department in all aspects of the function, including managing projects, reviewing engineering documents related to offshore and subsea construction, and attending on board vessels or on site to approve operations as required.

On a day to day basis you will be delivering engineering, MWS and other consultancy projects to meet quality and budget expectations. You will also be responsible for reviewing engineering documentation produced by contractors and heavy-lifters for MWS projects.

At all times you should see yourself as the client focal point for MWS projects, and undertake independent calculations when needed to verify the calculations submitted. You will advise the client and contractor of any critical areas that may result in losses or damages during the project execution phase, and partake in hazard identification workshops to ensure the risk(s) during the planned installations are as low as possible.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in the marine industry, with offshore construction/operations experience.
  • Registered or have sufficient experience to register with a professional body relevant to offshore engineering.
  • Familiarity with the role of the Marine Warranty Surveyor.
  • Possess or be willing to attain BOSIET/GWO and Offshore Medical in order to travel offshore.
