LMC Vacuum Glazing is a branch company of LMC Products Ltd who has been supplying the copper tube to the UK Refrigeration industry for 19 years. We have built a solid foundation in the industry. LMC Vacuum Glazing is a new venture: an ambitious early-stage business bringing vacuum insulated glazing (VIG) technology to the UK market. VIG represents a step change in thermal performance, enabling ultra-slim, low-U-value glazing solutions ideal for heritage retrofit, cold storage, high-humidity environments, and high-performing building designs in all sectors.
We now need a skilled, technically credible, client-focused professional to help introduce this exciting product to the market and drive early sales growth.
Responsibilities- Relationship-building with architects, consultants, and system suppliers
- Leading early sales conversations
- Supporting specification and technical adoption
- Representing the business at events and through CPDs
- Promote the VIG solution to architects, façade engineers, heritage specialists, and contractors
- Deliver technical CPDs, client briefings, and early-stage design guidance
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
- Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas
- Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts with clients
- Build and manage a network of early-adopter clients and partners
- Develop compelling pitch materials, collate specification documents, and FAQs
- Translate client feedback into product refinement and positioning
- Support sales to fabricators and glazing installers, helping them understand framing needs and installation standards
- Monitor competitor activity and emerging technical/regulatory issues in the glazing sector
- Represent the business at relevant industry events, shows, and forums
- Contribute to pricing strategy, go-to-market plans, and long-term growth planning
- BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology or Structural Engineering or Engineering
- Ability to work proactively in small teams with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, with good sketching ability
