We're seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Treasurer to lead a dynamic Treasury team across the U.K. and EMEA region. This is a unique opportunity to step into a senior leadership role with high visibility, real impact, and the chance to work closely with global business leaders. This lead role will give exposure to Treasury technology transformations and operational risk management.
6 months contract (starting in July 2025 and ending January 2026)
Location: Canary Wharf (with some travel to other London based locations)
Salary Day Rate: £500-£550
Hybrid: 2 days office based and 3 days working from home
The Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing Treasury team (9 team members across EMEA and India).
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior regional leaders, driving fiscal responsibility and effective risk management across liquidity, FX, and guarantees.
- Spearhead strategic working capital optimisation, netting and cash pooling programs, and Treasury technology rollouts across EMEA.
- Oversee regional trade finance activities and manage surplus investment strategies.
- Partner with global stakeholders on Treasury governance, risk reduction, KPI standardisation, and operational excellence.
- Provide integration support for M&A activity and lead quarterly close processes with accountability for in-house banking structures.
- Drive forward innovation and automation initiatives to create efficiencies and enhance cash management operations.
Skills/Experience required:
- Proven Project Management capabilities in a complex, multi-country Treasury setting.
- Excellent at managing, influencing, and partnering with senior stakeholders.
- Deep expertise in core Treasury fundamentals including liquidity, risk management, working capital, and banking relationships.
- Strong experience in an international/EMEA-focused Treasury function (corporate or banking side).
- AMCT qualification and a relevant degree are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Professional, motivated, outgoing - thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
