The Role: You will manage a diverse client portfolio while acting as a trusted advisor, delivering both compliance and consultancy-led work. You’ll also lead and develop a team, ensuring excellence across all client deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a client portfolio across accounts and corporation tax, acting as the primary contact and delivering assignments to deadline and budget.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, management accounts, VAT and tax returns, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP/FRS 102.
- Provide technical oversight, maintain regulatory standards, and lead and develop junior team members.
Qualifications:
- ACA / ACCA qualified (ICAEW or ACCA)
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a UK public practice environment
- Proven experience with: UK GAAP (FRS102) and Corporation tax
- Experience managing teams
- Experience with IRIS, VT, and leading bookkeeping software
