Job Description

Vice President - Product Analyst (Risk Platforms)Location: London (Hybrid) | Contract: Temporary | Hours: 35 per week We are seeking a Vice President-level Product Analyst to join a leading international bank on a temporary contract. This role will play a key part in enhancing the bank's risk management platforms covering counter-party credit and market risk, supporting strategic regulatory and technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into actionable product specifications.
  • Drive the development of analytics and reporting tools for areas such as CVA, MPE, VaR, sensitivities, and stress testing.
  • Ensure solutions align with ECB and Basel III/IV frameworks and internal risk policies.
  • Partner with teams across risk, modelling, compliance, and technology to define and validate solutions.
  • Contribute to agile delivery activities including backlog management, user stories, and testing.
  • Support the preparation of materials for ECB supervisory reviews, ICAAP, and SREP.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and market trends impacting risk technology and analytics.
About You
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related discipline.
  • 6-10 years' experience in risk management, risk technology, or product analysis within financial services.
  • Solid understanding of counterparty credit risk, market risk, and European regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency with risk systems, SQL, or Python, and experience working in agile environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous experience in an ECB-supervised institution is a plus.
