The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead high-impact, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives within its global business. This is a senior individual contributor role, with significant exposure to executive stakeholders.
The role combines strategic program leadership, transformation delivery, and stakeholder advisory, making it ideal for candidates who can operate comfortably between strategy and execution in complex, global environments.
Role Overview
This position sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and organisational change. You will be responsible for end-to-end program ownership, from initial stakeholder engagement and programme design through to delivery, benefits realisation, and sustainability.
You will work closely with senior leaders to translate strategic objectives into actionable programmes, establish governance frameworks, and drive measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale, non-IT transformation and change programmes at enterprise level
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior and executive stakeholders
- Own full programme lifecycle delivery, from initiation to benefits realisation
- Design and manage programme governance, reporting, and operating rhythms
- Balance multiple complex workstreams while maintaining stakeholder alignment
- Translate strategic vision into tangible, executable plans and outcomes
- Drive financial, operational, and organisational improvements through disciplined execution
- Build sustainable change capabilities and ways of working
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Large-scale programme and project management experience in complex organisations within the Financial Services sector.
- Experience gained in operating model optimization NOT technology.
- Senior stakeholder management, including executive-level engagement
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
