Job Description

Are you a recently qualified Accountant looking to make the leap from practice to industry? This is your opportunity to join the Head Office Finance Team of a dynamic AIM-listed group, offering exceptional exposure and a fast-moving learning environment.

We're working with a listed business seeking a Qualified Accountant who trained in practice, ideally from a Big 4 or large audit firm. This role is tailor-made for someone ready to step into industry and broaden their experience in a highly commercial and technically complex setting.

This role is an ideal springboard into industry, giving you exposure to a variety of high-level finance processes and the inner workings of a publicly listed group.

  • Salary: £70K-£75K discretionary bonus
  • Location: Crawley
  • Hybrid working: 3 days per week in the office & 2 days working from home.

Main duties include:

Reporting to the Senior Group Financial Accountant, you’ll support across a wide range of key Group Finance activities:

  • Group consolidations and reporting
  • Production of annual reports and statutory accounts
  • Group-level technical accounting and adjustments
  • Tax accounting support
  • Assisting with audit processes and group-wide compliance

Essential Skills/Experience required:

  • Qualified accountant
  • Trained in Practice, ideally in a Big 4 or Top 10 firm
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS/UK GAAP)
  • Excellent Excel and financial reporting skills
  • Ambitious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
