SC Cleared - Technical Writer

/n

Requires an experienced Technical writer to support the documentation of existing live services currently delivered by us on behalf of a client.
/n To meet requirements and support Secure by Design assurance activities, these services require formal documentation using templates and terminology.
/n The successful candidate will work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to capture existing service designs, technical configurations and operational processes, producing documentation suitable for review by the Technical Design Office (TDO).

Key Responsibilities
/n * Produce compliant High Level Design (HLD) documents for existing services.
/n * Produce supporting Low Level Design (LLD) documentation.
/n * Develop Business Process Guides and operational documentation.
/n * Conduct interviews and workshops with Mastek SMEs and Customer to capture current service architectures and processes.
/n * Ensure documentation accurately reflects existing service delivery and support models.
/n * Apply Secure by Design principles within documentation where appropriate.
/n * Support review, assurance and governance activities, addressing comments from the Technical Design Office and other stakeholders.

Essential Experience
/n * Demonstrable experience authoring wider UK Government technical documentation.
/n * Proven experience producing or contributing to HLDs, LLDs and process guides.
/n * Strong understanding of service architecture and technical design documentation.
/n * Ability to rapidly assimilate technical information from SMEs.
/n * Excellent written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
/n * Experience working within governance and assurance frameworks.
/n * Understanding of Secure by Design principles and Defence assurance processes.
/n * Experience supporting service transition or onboarding activities.
