About the role:

Head of Social Production to lead all aspects of video and content production across our social channels.

  • This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for running the full production pipeline from pre-production and filming, to editing, finishing and delivery across short-form video, social series, and branded content.
  • Manage a team of videographers, editors, producers, and freelancers, ensuring high-quality, platform-native content is delivered efficiently and at scale.
  • Work closely with creative, editorial, commercial and talent teams and bring both operational rigour and creative understanding to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operations of the social video production team from planning to publishing.
  • Lead all technical & logistical aspects of production: scheduling, equipment, shoot planning, post-production workflows.
  • Manage a team of editors, videographers, producers and freelancers ensuring delivery of high-quality, engaging social content.
  • Build and maintain production systems, templates, and file management processes to ensure smooth operation at scale.
  • Work with creatives and social leads to scope new formats and understand what’s needed from a production perspective.
  • Ensure all video output is platform-optimised (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat etc), and visually aligned to brand standards.
  • Source and manage third-party production support where needed.
  • Monitor output quality and implement improvements in workflow, editing, and technical standards.
  • Liaise with commercial teams on branded production needs
  • Champion new tools, templates, AI workflows and best-in-class production practices.

Ideal Experience and Skills

  • Previous work in a senior video production role, with brands known for culture, trends and storytelling.
  • Experience of end-to-end production including camera, lighting, sound, editing, file delivery.
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects etc) and modern editing workflows.
  • Lead multiple projects and shoots simultaneously with a calm, solutions-first mindset.
  • Able to produce commercial short-form content for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and Snapchat.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills able to run a team and production schedules.
  • Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and external suppliers.
  • A creative eye and understanding of how video drives audience growth on social platforms.
  • Knowledge of branded content production and ability to work alongside commercial teams.
