We are looking for experienced AVP-level Financial Crime Case Workers to support a major programme within a leading UK bank.
The position will focus on the ownership and investigation of complex and higher-risk cases, requiring strong Financial Crime knowledge, investigative capability and sound risk-based judgement.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of complex and higher-risk Financial Crime cases.
- Conduct detailed investigations and case reviews.
- Analyse customer information, documentation and potential risk indicators.
- Perform risk assessments and make well-supported, risk-based recommendations.
- Identify cases requiring further escalation or specialist review.
- Maintain clear and defensible case records and decision rationale.
- Ensure cases adhere to internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Manage cases efficiently through to resolution.
- Engage with Risk, Compliance, Financial Crime and operational stakeholders.
- Support less experienced case workers where required.
Experience Required
- 5+ years' relevant experience within Banking or Financial Services.
- Strong Financial Crime case management or investigations background.
- Experience within AML, KYC, Financial Crime, Risk, Compliance or Investigations.
- Demonstrable experience managing complex or higher-risk cases.
- Strong investigative and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent risk assessment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to make clear, evidence-based recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written communication and case documentation skills.
