A leading insurance organisation is seeking an experienced BI Developer with strong Sigma Computing expertise to join their data and analytics function on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that has invested heavily in a modern cloud data platform, with Snowflake as the enterprise data warehouse and Sigma Computing as the strategic reporting and analytics tool.
We are looking for a highly skilled BI Developer who can leverage data within Snowflake and build intuitive, business-facing dashboards and reporting solutions through Sigma. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver meaningful insights that drive business decision-making.
What You'll Be Doing
Designing and developing dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions in Sigma Computing
Building and maintaining Sigma Workbooks, Datasets, and visualisations
Working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions
Creating KPI reporting and management dashboards across insurance functions
Writing complex SQL queries and working directly with data within Snowflake
Supporting the adoption of self-service BI capabilities across the business
Collaborating with Data Engineering teams to optimise reporting performance and data accessibility
Ensuring reporting solutions are scalable, accurate, and aligned with business requirements
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a BI Developer, Business Intelligence Developer, or Analytics Developer
Strong hands-on experience with Sigma Computing
Experience building dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Sigma
Strong SQL skills
Experience working with Snowflake
Solid understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts
Excellent stakeholder management and requirements-gathering skills
Ability to communicate complex data and insights to non-technical audiences
