As we continue to evolve, we're seeking a proactive and strategic Finance Manager to help us modernise operations and drive efficiency across the organisation.
The Role
This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives on improving systems and streamlining processes. You'll lead our finance function while identifying opportunities to enhance working practices and oversee the potential upgrade of our IT infrastructure. You'll work closely with senior leadership and cooperative members to ensure financial clarity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Analyse current workflows and recommend improvements to boost efficiency and reduce waste
- Lead the review and potential upgrade of our IT systems, ensuring alignment with business needs
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and cooperative governance standards
- Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making and long-term planning
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and cooperative members
What We're Looking For
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), also open to QBE
- Experience in financial management, ideally within a trading or cooperative environment
- Strong understanding of business process optimisation and change management
- Familiarity with IT systems and finance software (e.g., Sage, Xero, ERP platforms)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A collaborative mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
