We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in roadside repairs.

This role involves assisting stranded motorists, attending roadside breakdowns and RTC's.

The Service Technician will work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Duties

  • Assessing and repairing mechanical faults.
  • Attending roadside.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Assist customers with inquiries, providing excellent customer service throughout the repair process.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required during the assembly and repair of vehicles.
  • Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs performed using Apex
  • Attend roadside breakdowns as well as pre planned contractual call outs

Requirements

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair preferred.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for assembly and repair tasks.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting as necessary for the role.
  • Welding skills are a plus but not mandatory.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail is essential.
