The Systems Integration & Test Engineer will play a key role in supporting the design, integration, verification, and validation of complex systems across their full lifecycle. The role contributes to ensuring that customer and system requirements are effectively translated into robust, testable engineering solutions that meet technical, schedule, and cost objectives. Working as part of a collaborative engineering team, the role supports activities from early concept through to design, fabrication, testing, integration, and operational deployment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting systems analysis activities across complex engineering programmes
  • Assisting with integration planning and coordination of system elements
  • Contributing to test development and verification and validation activities
  • Supporting requirements management and traceability throughout the system lifecycle
  • Assisting with interface definition between hardware and software components
  • Participating in trade studies to evaluate and compare engineering solutions
  • Working across multiple phases of the system lifecycle, from concept through to delivery and support
  • Developing technical capability in systems thinking, problem-solving, and engineering delivery.

Experience:

  • Working within systems engineering, integration, testing, or a related engineering discipline
  • Ability to develop practical solutions to complex technical problems, working with appropriate guidance and support
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to apply them across structured technical tasks
  • Ability to work independently on defined activities while engaging with senior engineers on key decisions and technical direction
  • Good awareness of industry practices and engineering processes, with the ability to apply them effectively in delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to build capability and develop expertise within a technical engineering environment.
