The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of the ground segment of a satellite communications system. They will be fully conversant with the construction and performance of the ground segment and able to represent it to the customer.

  • Manages more than one technical engineering and science organization.
  • Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
  • Manages the activities of subordinate associate managers, supervisors, or exempt professionals.
  • Maintains communication with internal personnel, external customers, and peers at various levels.
  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis requires evaluation of a variety of factors.
  • Advises on tasks, projects, and operations.
  • Accountable for setting strategic direction, making decisions, allocating resources, fostering collaboration, and driving the achievement of organizational objectives.
  • Actively contributes to the development of new concepts.
