We have a need for additional Software Engineers with Java programming skills to join the Ampthill, Bedfordshire Engineering team. Proven and demonstrable evidence of capabilities in software engineering.
Qualifications:
- Java (version 11 or later) and Object Oriented Development
- Knowledge of development on various Operating Systems (Windows 10/11, Linux)
- Knowledge of DevSecOps
- Proven experience of working as part of an agile team on a large-scale programme
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of UML modelling for software (desirable)
- Knowledge of DDS (Data Distribution Service) (desirable)
- Knowledge of Gradle (desirable)
- Development of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Software (desirable)
- Knowledge of C# or C++ (desirable)
- Knowledge of GitLab (desirable)
