We're looking for an Electrical / Mechanical Engineer (Graduate level) to join our team based from Faslane, Helensburgh. This role benefits from our 9/75 working pattern giving you every other Friday off.

You will join the business at an entry level and be provided with extensive specialist training and career development. This will be provided at a Royal Navy Base on the West Coast of Scotland and will include periods of detached duty in other areas of the UK and US.

The successful candidate must have ambition for both our business and their own personal success, and undertake training on unique equipment contained onboard a Trident Submarine and within the Trident Training Facility (TTF).

Skills developed through specialist training will enable you to:

  • Work as a fully integrated member of the Trident Training Facility, Training Equipment Team.
  • Perform Preventative and Corrective Maintenance on components within the Strategic Weapon System (SWS).
  • Develop an understanding of the Weapon Training System (WTS) & Training Stimulation System (TSS).
  • Travel within the UK and to the US to attend Technical Exchange Meetings, undertake Contractor provided training and to provide UK Engineering Support.

Graduate in an Electrical or Mechanical biased subject or a minimum of a HNC with some hands-on experience in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering / Technician role.

Demonstrable Electrical and Mechanical Engineering knowledge.

Knowledge of Networked Computer Systems.

Able to adhere to strict health and safety guidelines within a highly prescriptive environment.

Take ownership of tasks as delegated and drive them through to successful conclusion under agreed deadlines.

An ability to function as part of a team, with excellent written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
