We are seeking to recruit a Practice Nurse to join our established and highly regarded clinical team on a part-time basis (24-30 hours per week). We are a long-standing, forward-thinking training practice based in Llanelli, known for our supportive culture and strong team ethos. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically skilled and patient-focused nurse to become part of a friendly, committed, and collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.
Main duties of the job:
- The postholder will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to meet the needs of the practice population.
- This will include, but is not limited to, wound care, health promotion and preventative care, patient education, and the administration of vaccinations and immunisations.
- The role also involves supporting and supervising less experienced clinical staff, contributing to a positive learning environment.
- The postholder will work collaboratively with clinical, management, and administrative colleagues to support the delivery of safe, effective services and to contribute to the ongoing development and objectives of the practice.

Our clinical team comprises 4 GP Partners, 4 Salaried GPs, 2 Clinical Pharmacists, 1 Physician Assistant, 1 Diabetes Specialist Nurse, 2 Practice Nurses, and a Healthcare Support Worker. As an accredited GP Registrar training practice, we are committed to education, development, and maintaining high clinical standards. We are supported by an experienced and highly efficient administrative and reception team, who play a vital role in the smooth running of the practice and delivery of patient care. We pride ourselves on our collaborative, supportive working environment and our shared commitment to providing high-quality care.
