We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to support our Saturday cervical screening clinics within a friendly GP surgery.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (NMC)
  • Qualified and experienced in cervical cytology/smear taking
  • Previous experience in primary care / GP setting
  • Experience using SystmOne and CSMS systems
  • Strong communication and patient care skills

Role:

  • Deliver cervical screening clinics in line with national guidance
  • Ensure accurate documentation and sample handling
  • Provide a professional, sensitive, and patient-focused service
  • Liaise with patients to support the Practice with improving screening uptake

This role supports improved access to screening services in line with priorities set by NHS England.
