Our Treasury & Investment Management team plays a vital role in supporting the long-term sustainability of the Lloyd's market. We manage nearly £14bn of assets and oversee investment strategies that help strengthen one of the world's most recognised financial institutions.
We're looking for an Investment Manager to join our Investment Strategy & Solutions team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. If you're passionate about investment strategy, multi-asset portfolios and delivering meaningful outcomes in a complex financial environment, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do
- You'll work closely with senior investment leaders to help shape and deliver investment strategies across a range of Lloyd's-managed funds and mandates.
- Your work will span strategic asset allocation, portfolio monitoring, investment research and stakeholder engagement, helping ensure our investments deliver sustainable, risk-adjusted returns while supporting broader business objectives.
You’ll:
- Help develop and implement investment strategies across multi-asset portfolios
- Analyse market trends, economic developments and investment opportunities
- Support asset allocation, risk management and portfolio oversight activities
- Partner with stakeholders to communicate investment performance, strategy and market insights
- Contribute to the development of new investment solutions and investment platform offerings
- Support the evaluation and implementation of new asset classes and investment opportunities
- Produce reporting and analysis for clients, regulators and internal stakeholders
- Build strong relationships across Lloyd's and with external partners
What you'll bring
We're interested in talented investment professionals who combine technical expertise with curiosity, sound judgement and strong communication skills.
You’ll likely bring:
- Experience in investment management, portfolio management or investment strategy
- Knowledge of multi-asset investing, including fixed income, equities and alternative assets
- Understanding of investment considerations within insurance or regulated financial services environments
- Knowledge of strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction and risk management
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial information
- Experience communicating with senior stakeholders and translating technical concepts into clear insights
- A collaborative approach and a desire to contribute to a high-performing team
- Experience with insurance balance sheets, solvency frameworks or asset-liability management would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, CAIA or FIA are welcomed but not required.
