Role Overview

Lloyd's is seeking to recruit 2 Lead Service Architects (Corporation). You will provide clear architectural leadership across Finance, Risk, Legal and HR, helping these functions operate efficiently, predictably and with confidence. You will align strategy and technology, simplify complex application landscapes, and ensure solutions are robust, compliant and fit for purpose.

Responsibilities

  • Lead transformation: Set and champion enterprise architecture principles and governance.
  • Align enterprise and domain strategies, with clear 1-, 3- and 5-year views.
  • Support major programmes through design authority, governance and procurement.
  • Explain architectural decisions clearly to business and technology leaders.
  • Drive application lifecycle management, rationalisation and cost transparency.
  • Manage technical debt, waivers and target-state alignment.
  • Balance day-to-day stability with long-term change.
  • Build trusted relationships across Finance, HR, Risk and Legal.
  • Collaborate with the wider architecture community to stay consistent and joined-up.
  • Stay curious about modern tools, data, AI and industry best practice.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong enterprise architecture experience in complex, regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of Finance and/or HR within financial services.
  • Confidence working with governance, integration and data.
  • A clear communicator who can simplify complexity for senior leaders.
  • Calm judgement under pressure and a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience of the Lloyd's market or insurance sector is a strong advantage.
