  • Join our Finance team and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial and regulatory reporting that helps drive business decisions. You’ll work with people across the organisation to provide insight into performance, strengthen controls and support continuous improvement
  • This is a varied role where you’ll combine reporting expertise, analysis and innovation to make a real impact
  • Lead engagement with Finance colleagues to analyse and explain financial results, key transactions and business developments
  • Take ownership of reporting processes, delivering accurate and timely IFRS, Solvency II and regulatory reporting outputs
  • Act as a trusted business partner, providing insight, challenge and technical guidance to support decision-making
  • Analyse data from several sources to identify trends, risks and opportunities, translating findings into actionable insights
  • Interpret and apply accounting, regulatory and policy requirements to ensure compliant and consistent outcomes
  • Lead operational improvement, automation and digital initiatives to simplify activities, strengthen controls and improve efficiency
  • Lead reporting change initiatives and small projects, coordinating partners and implementing process and system enhancements
  • Support colleague development through coaching, knowledge sharing and technical guidance
  • Promote a strong risk and control environment through effective financial controls and governance processes

Proven experience analysing complex financial information and translating findings into clear insights and recommendations for interested partiesStrong people management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge constructively and build effective relationships across Finance and the wider businessExperience operating within a robust financial control and governance environment, with a focus on accuracy, compliance and risk management3+ years’ experience preparing and reviewing financial reporting under IFRS, Solvency II or other regulatory reporting frameworksQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3+ years’ experience in financial reporting, regulatory reporting, or a related Finance roleWhilst this job advert may reference specific years of experience, we recognise that skills are developed in many ways, so if you have relevant, transferable experience, we encourage you to applyKnowledge of Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate and advanced Excel reporting techniquesExperience delivering operational improvement, automation or digital transformation initiatives within FinanceIdeally with Financial Services and/or Insurance experienceExperience coaching, mentoring or developing colleagues and sharing technical expertise within a team environment
